Jupiter's Jet Streams are Freaky

When you hear about jet streams on the weather report, you never picture anything fancy, and definitely not scary. Earth's jet streams look casual, and sometimes pretty, without causing much alarm on most days. That's not the case with every planet, though.

The jet streams on Jupiter are out of your wildest nightmares. Nasa's Juno just collected some images of the jet streams and it looks like something out of Dante's Inferno. You'll have to click the link to truly witness how amazing and scary these appear. The findings also give us much more information about Jupiter as a planet, which is also just cool to read about.
