Favorite 80s Cartoon Villains

I've always been a list addict and I absolutely love this list of favorite 80s cartoon villains being passed around the web right now! I didn't even remember Dr. Claw until seeing him featured in this list, and who could ever forget Cobra Commander? I'd have to add the evil Hordak from She-Ra; he might not have been as fearsome as Skeletor but he's definitely creepier than some of the villains on this list!

Linda Cardellini Interview

I love James Corden so much, and when he recently made an innocent comment on his show I had to wonder if it was accidental or not. His reaction seemed genuine enough, but I'm still left wondering if he tried to poke a beehive to get a bit of drama going.

He suggested that Linda Cardellini be on Family Guy, and she said it was funny he should say that because she WAS on the show and Seth MacFarlane replaced her without notice! She had told people she'd be on the show and was surprised to find out that nope, she wasn't on it after filming after all. Wow.

Frog Poachers Protecting Frogs

When the bad guys become the good guys, it's like a Miyazaki movie, right? The Error of the Ways (TM) has been seen, the person makes a full 180 turn and everyone wins at the end. Unfortunately, life's much messier than that, and many of the 'bad guys' are really just people trying to make a living, and sometimes you can't even blame them when they're engaging in unethical behavior when there's a lousy job market to content with.

Best Educational Games

We usually discuss party games on the blog, whether they're serious or funny, but lots of educational games double as party games, too. Concept, for example, can be really challenging and fun, but it also helps you learn to think critically and dissect information. I'm of the opinion that any game can be educational, but I also think that any experience can also be eductional! If you're learning, doesn't it qualify?

Best Salad Dressings

As someone who continues to try and eat healthy, I must admit that I get very bored with my salads. It's not even like they're boring in the first place: I chop up and add veggies and cheese, I often toss in some avocado if I have any, I experiment with herbs, spices and dressings, but it still gets awfully boring. So one of the things I try to do is try out new dressings that inspire me.

Cute Newfoundland Doggies

Big dogs are fabulous. Mine are 60 pounds each and while that's not nearly as large as many dogs, it's large enough where they sound like horses when they run through the house, their barking is scary enough to warn most people away and they're giant cuddle-pups who flop next to me and want to snuggle constantly. They do get gamier than smaller dogs, but I think that's just because of their sheer size and athleticism, and their poop is obviously something to contend with.

Student Loan Forgiveness

Elizabeth Warren and several other 2020 presidential contenders are discussing a student loan forgiveness plan for our country and it's an interesting idea, to say the least. For starters, it would force us to rethink the current model for student loans and the skyrocketing prices of universities that have increased by over 200% in recent years while wages have largely remained stagnant.
