Living in a Potato

It's $200 a night

Have you ever wanted to spend the night in a giant potato? At this Boise attraction, you can. The Big Idaho Potato is an Airbnb destination where all potato lovers can sleep inside a giant potato. Granted, it's not a real potato--it's made of steel, plaster and concrete, which is fortunate since a real potato would be pretty wet and rot around you as you sleep in it--but it's probably the closest you'll ever get to sleeping in a real potato.

The 28-foot hotel traveled around, but now it's set in one location so you can plan an adventure in or around Boise and stay a night or two. There's not much--a bed, some chairs and a few books--but it's cute on a mound that makes it look like it grew right out of the earth.
